
ABOUT TONY MORAN

Anthony “Tony” Moran was born on August 14, 1957 in Burbank, California, USA, to parents Sharon and Edward Moran. He is an actor, producer and newly ordained minister, and is most notably known for portraying the infamous “unmasked” Michael Myers in John Carpenter's 1978 horror movie, Halloween, he also appears in Halloween II and Halloween Kills of the same movie franchise. Tony has made guest appearances in Chips, The Waltons, James at 15, James at 16 and California Fever in the 70s and 80’s. Since then, he has starred in several independent Horror Films and shorts, and won awards, such as Best Actor award for Beg in 2011. Tony has made numerous appearances at Horror Conventions and Haunts around the U.S. and in parts of Canada and Western Europe.
Tony is the middle child, along with his twin sister Kelly, in a household of 6 children. His older half siblings are Michael and Sharon Lea Moran, and he is the older brother of John and Erin Moran of Happy Days fame.
Tony attended and graduated from North Hollywood High School in his hometown of North Hollywood, California in the San Fernando Valley. During the years leading up to his appearances on the convention scene, he laid low for several years as he surfed, taught tennis lessons, played golf, and worked in the real estate loan business, while starting a family.
He then began to act in independent Horror shorts and films, like The Lucky Break, Beg, Haunting in New England (aka Provoked), The Ungovernable Force, A Beautiful Place, Clown Motel: Spirits Arise, The Trees Have Eyes (aka Dead Bounty), to name a few. He also made an appearance as an inmate in Slayer’s “Repentless” music video.

Tony has lived a very adventurous and colorful life and can tell you a million stories, and his friends and fans are the most important to him. If you’ve ever met Tony, then you know what a great personality he is, and how he makes his fans feel special. He always comments on how blessed he is to have their support, since “without them he is nothing”!
In 2021, Tony became ordained as a minister by Universal Life Church in order to perform weddings and vow renewals as Michael Myers for horror fans. Minister Moran officiated his first wedding in September of 2021 in West Virginia. He was so touched by the magnitude and love of the event that he wants to perform these weddings full time beginning in 2022.
Anyone that knows Tony well, knows that he has a huge heart. He has heard his calling to start his own foundation for a while, which he plans to help domestic abuse and child abuse victims, as well as give support to our tremendously brave "Wounded Warriors". He has felt the need to give back for some time and it’s finally coming to fruition, more info coming soon.
